Shipping & returns

LAST UPDATED AUGUST 2026

One catalogue, two delivery paths: files arrive from us in seconds, printed books arrive from Lulu in a parcel.

Ebook delivery

There is nothing to ship. Download buttons appear on the confirmation page as soon as payment clears, and a receipt with the same links reaches your inbox within a few minutes. Links allow five downloads over thirty days and can be re-issued free of charge.

Paperback production

Print editions are produced on demand by Lulu. Production usually takes two to four business days before a parcel enters the postal network.

Delivery times

After production, most destinations receive the parcel within three to seven business days on standard post; expedited services are offered by Lulu at checkout. Remote regions, public holidays, and customs inspections can add time.

Tracking, where available, is emailed by Lulu when the parcel ships.

Customs, duties, and taxes

International orders may attract import duties or taxes on arrival. These are set by your country, are not included in the price, and are the recipient's responsibility.

Wrong, damaged, or missing parcels

Contact Lulu with your Lulu order number and photographs of the problem; damaged or misprinted books are replaced. Write to orders@books4books.com at the same time and we will chase it alongside you.

If a parcel has not arrived within twenty-one days of shipping, treat it as lost and open a case with Lulu.

Returns

Paperback returns and refunds are governed by Lulu's policy, since Lulu is the seller of record for print. Ebooks are non-refundable once downloaded — see the refunds policy for the full detail.
